I have gotten a little behind the last couple days so here is a quick update while I am sitting with Jared waiting for his transplant! On Sunday Jared had his last does of Chemotherapy hopefully for the rest of his life!!! Whooo! He was excited even though he did not have much energy to show it!
As each day of chemo progressed Jared started to feel worse and worse, more fatigued and more nauseous. Yesterday on Monday he had a check up and his levels were all still good, but he was feeling the worse thus far. He had a hard time eating and staying awake as well as none of the anti-nausea drugs he was given seemed to do the trick. Finally around 8:30pm I made Jared do his salt-water mouth rinses and that pushed him over the edge and made him very sick (Throwing up sick) for a few minutes and then he felt much better for a while. I thought after everything I have been doing that a little barf would not effect me......well I was wrong. I ran into the bathroom to comfort him and then realized if I stayed someone was going to need to comfort me... I guess I am not numb to barf yet. Josh came to my rescue and all was well. Jared then felt better and was able to sleep.
Jared showing me how strong he is during his last chemo!!
